i went shopping today in all the little stores in hillcrest. like MINT. they have the cutest shoes there. and theres this store with a whole wall of superman stuff. from there i got: magnets for my mini fridge, a superman pin ball game, and an address book. so give me your address and cell number and email address and i will love you forever hhee.
I went to buffalo exchange and got this cute purse too. its hard to describe so you'll just have to wait until this friday to see it hehe.

Then i went to subway and got the same type of sandwhich i always get. how boring am I?

then i went home to watch some bball games on tv.
Duke vs. Virginia. it started off as a good game, because the score was fairly close, only four and AT most six apart. but after halftime, it went downhill for virginia, and duke gained a twenty point lead.

Now i am watching the Georgia Tech-North Carolina game. so hopefully that will be a good game.

Its ACC sunday hehe.

Matt Lottich and Cory Violette are my cutey bballers. hehee. #33 must be the best number!

I've been messing with my journal a tad. Making it more basketball themed.

omg yesterday we beat bishops. 29-22. yeah iknow. we havve really low scoring games. haha. we still won.

the Jv boys game kept me on the edge of my fucking seat. so fucking close. adn we so had them. we DID have them through the entire game, until the last few horrible seconds. oh well. nice try guys.

Varsity girls game was tough. GOod try though girls. IT was hard and you played tough. sorry for the loss though.

Varsity boys game was exciting. so fast. i love it. omg so fun. i loved it. So intense. hehe. i dont remember the final score, so if anyone knows, let me know. IT was great. I really want to see pat dunk. i really really do. austin told me that james, gio and pat have all dunked in a game (pats was called as a carry so it didnt count) but i really want to see someone dunk.

it was a fun fun day. Justin hehe. just so many wonderful people went, and so many wonderful people playing haha.

oh yeah..anyone know whatt the foul was that was called against luke for?

omg the Stanford-Arizona game was embarrassing. Arizona #3 and Stanford#4. it was supposed to be a close game. instead:
Arizona was nervous, and Stanford was taking advantage of that. So it got as big as a 20 point lead for Stanford. But Arizona brought it back to only a 10 point lead for Stanford and ended the game : 82-72.

I love: Matt Lottich. hehe. sharp three point Stanford Shooter. not to mention hes cuuuute.

i went to bed around 3ish in the morning after saying happy birthday to sean.

i woke up today around 1:00ish. i did nothing all day cuz i was so tired. im still too lazy to do anything. i was going to go to the basketball game at La Costa Canyon High school cuz Parker Varsity Boys were playing in the FINALS
oh wells...ill get the score once its over and ill keep yalls updated on it.

what i did do today:

watched pirates of the caribbean
talked to vincent on the phone for about an hour or more

ive been really out of it since vegas. It was SOO MUCH FUN! i miss you girls already. hehehe. so much fun.

other than that happy reminiscing (however you spell that) ive been going through some roughness with people. im sorry shannon.

Gonzaga Update:

CORY VIOLETTE (my future husband) scored his career high in the game against Washington State. 31 fucking points. hes sooo cute and adorable. i cant wait until they come down and play USD cuz then i get to see him! hes soooo cute. i wuv him. muhahahhahaha.

the final score for that game was Gonzaga:96 --- Wash. State: 58
Damn WE CREAMED EM

over in las vegas, coach was quizzing me about all my gonzaga knowledge, and i think i shocked most of the table with it too. muahahhaha. GO ZAGS!

Favorite Gonzaga game:

Last Year. the game that precedes sweet 16 (aka the game where the winner of that game will go to the sweet 16)
Arizona Wildcats vs. Gonzaga Bulldogs

Final Score: 96-95 DOUBLE overtime..Arizona wins.

that was the game that finally earned Gonzaga some respect and made them WIDELY known to just about EVERYONE. they are still the "cinderella" pick. the small school that hits big. hehe.

random fact: Blake stepp was the one that missed the jumper to win the game. oh wells.

oh and i got this poster from the gonzaga online store called the "great eight of Gonzaga Basketball"

it says GREAT EIGHT in big letters with a bulldog beneath it. then it has a picture of Dan Dickau dribbling the ball. DAMN I LOVE HIS HAIR

then below that picture theres 8 pictures of the GREATEST EIGHT basketball athletes that went to gonzaga:

Jerry Vermillion (1952-1955)
Bakari Hendrix (1997-1998)
Casey Calvary (98-01)
Dan Dickau (01-02)
John Stockton (81-84)
Matt Santangelo (97-00)
Frank Burgess (59-61)
Jeff Brown (92-94)

ill update later about the boys scores or any other game i find note worthy...

~gonzaga girl~

There were things that I wish not remember. But they are the things I simply cannot forget. They are what make me cry. They are what make me smile and laugh. They are what make me want you. They are what make me want to hurt you. They are the both the ups and downs, and everything in between. I can't live without them, yet I don't want to live with them either. It's hard to move on knowing that I am leaving you behind. It's hard to move on because I want to bring you with me. These two contradicting desires leave me broken, and alone. I cannot choose between them. It's impossible. When times got rough for me, you would be the one I would run to. But now, who would I run to? And how could I run to you, if you were the one causing all my pain? I feel so alive around you. Yet my heart is still hurting. You're the only person who allows me to feel pain, happiness, sorrow, joy all at the same time. You're the one who taught me to believe. How can I believe, when you're also the one telling me to let go?

Someone i could talk to. someone i look up to. not necessarily an idol but someone who would be there when i needed them. I try to make sure that hes proud of me, and that he believes in me and that i meet his standards. but now i feel like ive upset him, and that everything i do to try and please him just digs me deeper in this rut. i still try and make sure that im up to par with someone he would associate with, but i keep failing. For awhile, ive been dusing off my shoulders and trying again, but now i dont know. i Know one thing. he is trying to help me, but while im in this stupid rut, nothing is being processed and i just keep on digging deeper. i miss my older brother. the one i could talk to about anything. i miss my older brother. the one who would feed me advice. i miss him.

WE HAD THEM GODDAMIT then we let it go. GAAHH. o my fucking god..on thursday ( the game that EVErYONE SHOULD GO TO) im gonna rip people apart..

ima go in hard for every basket, hopefully getin the basket and the foul shots. and when im on defense ima not let my person get the ball and if they DO get the ball, im not going to let them penetrate at all! im goign to rip the ball down on rebounds (defensive and offensive) and if its offensive ones, im going to power it back up. Hopefully ill get some steals and power lay up them.

IM GOING TO BE THE HULK of our team. Piss me off. YOu are GOING DOWN! DOWN I TELL YOU. DOWN!!

no more shit.

play every offensive play like its the last 30 seconds of the game and you are down by 2 and you HAVE TO MAKE the basket to win.

play every defensive play like its the last 30 secongs of the game and you are up by 2 and you CANNOT let them pass and score.

play every quarter like its the last.

play every minute the best you can.

basketball rants:
i wish i was point again. being center is okay. but even though i post up i rarely get the ball. when i was point, it was in my hands and i can shoot from practicly everywhere on the court (except threes). i would score like 12 points a game. i know i should be able to do that now, but i hardly get the ball so its kind of hard to score without the ball. oh well. as long as my team does well, its all that matters.

If anyone has any "post player" or center tips/secrets, let me in on them.

if you can:
come to the game on Thursday at 3:30 in the FH. we will most likely lose, but it still means a lot.

GaH! and YAY! i get to go to LA on saturday for the Mich STate - UCLA game. I told coach that my fam was going to LA para Hanukkah cuz i AM going with family up there but not for hanukkah. and im kinda skipping the saturday game against Coronado. SORRY GUYS. but SHHH!!

And if you have nothing to do on Saturday, watch the Gonzaga Stanford Game. Root for GOnzaga cuz they can tear up the COURT.
<marquee>Cory is my forward/center HERO</marquee>

#33. so look for him. hes 6-8 God damn! and #1 Ronny Turiaf Baby!
